Your Friends In The Insurance Business at Midland Michigan's Ieuter Insurance group are honoring Flag Day, which is Friday, June 14, by distributing free American flags.
This is the ninth consecutive year that we've handed out free, American-made, 3-foot- by 5-foot flags. One flag is available per household, and they will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
“The Ieuter staff encourages everyone to take a moment on June 14 and recognize and appreciate what our great American flag symbolizes,” Ieuter Principal Karl Ieuter told the Midland Daily News. “Ieuter Insurance Group is proud of our country and grateful for our military. Let’s keep Old Glory flying high this upcoming Flag Day!”
Those who have an old flag they wish to dispose of are asked to drop it off at Ieuter Insurance Group, at 414 Townsend St. in Midland. The Ieuter staff will take the old flags to the American Legion to be properly disposed of in a dignified way. Read the full Midland Daily News story here.
